Description:
Kawasaki Disease UK is seeking a passionate and motivated PR and Events Volunteer to help raise awareness and drive support for our cause. You will work closely with the team to plan, organize, and promote events, both virtually and in the London area. Your role will also involve creating compelling press releases, managing media contacts, and supporting the team in public relations efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in organizing fundraising events, charity dinners, and awareness campaigns.

• Write and distribute press releases to media outlets.

• Develop relationships with media contacts to secure coverage.

• Promote events on social media and other platforms to increase engagement.

• Coordinate event logistics and help ensure smooth execution.

• Support post-event follow-ups and evaluations.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Interest in event planning and public relations.

• Enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented.

• Experience in PR of at least 2 years.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment:
Flexible hours; remote or London-based with the option to attend events in person.
