Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Funding Officer to join our team on a commission basis. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing funding within the charity sector, with at least 5 years of experience. This role offers the opportunity to work remotely and contribute to a meaningful cause, helping us secure the financial resources necessary to further our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue funding opportunities, including grants, donations, and partnerships.

• Develop and submit compelling funding proposals to potential donors and funding bodies.

• Build and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders.

• Track and report on funding progress, ensuring that all targets are met or exceeded.

• Collaborate with the team to align funding efforts with the charity's strategic goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fundraising within the charity sector.

• Strong understanding of grant application processes and donor relations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
